Reboot the Economy with Productivity

Australia's productivity growth—measured as the change in what we produce each hour that we work—has slumped in recent years and, without action, our disappointing performance will worsen.

The consequences of weak productivity growth can translate into slower growth in our living standards.

To put productivity back on the right track,we need to embrace opportunities for structural reform. The NSW Productivity Commission’s 2021 White Paper is showing the way.
