A company named Activate will provide telehealth, remote monitoring and digital literacy training to farm workers and their families in California’s Central Valley.
The patients that will be served are traditionally left out of other traditional health system models. Because they live in rural areas they are typically face financial, cultural and legal barriers to getting health care services. Telehealth will assist in allowing patients to manage their own health and have better health outcomes.
