Familiarisation through pictures encourage kids to eat more veggies

The See & Eat project has published 24 vegetable ebooks for children, designed to encourage them to eat their vegetables. The initiative is based on a study from the UK, which has provided evidence that familiarising children to fruit and vegetables through picture books can increase their interest in tasting those foods. The ebooks show the journey from farm to fork, and can be easily edited and personalised from a tablet.

Congrats on this idea now trending. My kids loved the Dr Seuss books- particularly Green Eggs and Ham......

I am genuinely surprised that this technique of e-books about vegetables could work. However I acknowledge the evidence and it seems to indicate that visual reinforcement is important.
