According to an Inside Retail article, if retailers were to ditch printing receipts altogether, Australia could save approximately:

1.5 million trees

249 billion litres of water and

4.5 billion litres of oil

in just one year.

The NSW Minister for Digital Victor Dominello has opted in for eReceipts at Woolworths and so have I.

Every time you shop and scan your Everyday Rewards Card in-store your eReceipt will automatically be saved in your Everyday Rewards app and online account.

You can view your eReceipts for 14 months after your shop.
Plus, you can download them for your records.
