Australia's Ready Fund Go has raised in pledges $140,000 to continue to prevent plastic waste by supporting through donations the edible and delicious coffee cup made of vanilla wafers.

Australians love their coffee.

The problem is that every day an estimated 2.7 million coffee cups are disposed of in Australia. This means about a billion coffee cups are disposed of each year.

The solution is a new edible coffee cup that biodegrades faster than a banana peel. No landfills are needed and no risk of plastic waste could end up in the ocean.
