Creating jobs by improving Australia's energy efficiency

In 2018 Australia was apparently ranked the world’s worst performing developed country on energy efficiency.

The IEA has published 10 recommendations in the Global Commission for Urgent Action on Energy Efficiency, to improve our energy efficiency.

In a separate article, it is noted implementing the recommendations " could create 120,000 job years of employment in Australia, while reducing cost-of-living pressures for businesses and households,” said Luke Menzel, CEO, Energy Efficiency Council.
