Could sail cloth make wind turbines more effective?

A Scottish start-up has been testing a wind turbine which utilises sail cloth in its production. It seems this delivers a number of benefits, the largest being a 7% reduction in the LCOE. But also a 9% increase in production, 24% reduction in weight and its component-based design improves dismantling and recycling.
