CoP26 - Week 2 - China surprise

Xie Zhenhua is China's top Climate envoy and has proved to be the most important representative at the Glasgow CoP26 Conference (see Ideas Spies post CoP26 - Week 1).

Xie and US Climate Envoy John Kerry have announced that.. "The two largest economies in the world have agreed to work together on emissions" says Kerry. With so many other announcements watered down and Australia blocking several agreements, this China-US agreement finally provides hope that we can limit the global warming, that is already near the Paris limit:
