Construction Manager Tackles Language & Literacy Barriers to WHS

post-image

Over half a million Aussies are injured in the workplace each year, and Sydney construction manager-come-entrepreneur, George Bancs, is on a mission to change this.

George has launched the world's first multilingual auditing platform which enables users to complete WHS audits (and other checklists) via speaking and listening as well as reading and writing. He developed Talk 5 following challenges he faced on construction sites with multicultural workers and those with lower literacy levels completing Health & Safety audits that they didn't understand.

Talk 5 is free during COVID-19 and features readymade checklists from state and federal regulators.
