Coffee Shop Creates Work for Young People with ADHD

Janet Cunningham, who was diagnosed with ADHD at age 37, has set up the ADHD Hub Coffee Shop and Info Point to tackle stigma about the condition in Newcastle, UK.

The coffee shop serves as a training ground for kids and young adults with ADHD to learn important skills related to the workplace.

Janet said the shop was designed to give kids "freedom to be themselves". "The kids get a sense of pride of having something to look forward to coming into the shop."
