The Climate League 2030 – newly launched in mid-October - a ten-year, private sector initiative to support and act, towards a goal of reducing Australia’s annual greenhouse gas emissions by at least another 230 million tonnes from what is projected for 2030: https://climateleague.org.au/about/

The initiative is coordinated by the Investor Group on Climate Change (IGCC) and assisted by foundational supporters Aware Super, Cbus, IFM Investors and the Queensland Investment Corporation.

Together with industry groups including the Australian Industry Energy Transitions Initiative https://energytransitionsinitiative.org/, the Smart Energy Council https://www.smartenergy.org.au/our-story and others, the business sector is leading the policy debate on climate action.
