Carbon Solutions Land Investment

post-image
Soil Carbon Co based in regional NSW city of Orange is designed for the world's farmers, mitigating climate change and improving soil productivity. This two-sided challenge takes carbon dioxide from the air and builds carbon in the soil.  Having just landed $10m investment, the tech allows for crops to be inoculated with symbiotic micro-organisms. Underpinned by University of Sydney research, these microbes improve the host plant's fertility and protect it against disease and bolster the soil around the plants roots to store carbon more effectively.  https://agfundernews.com/using-microfungi-and-melanin-this-soil-carbon-startup-just-raised-6-9m-in-a-round-led-by-li-ka-shings-vc-firm.html

A clever way to solve two, related problems: too much carbon dioxide in the air, and too little carbon in the ground!
