You would think the obvious answer is a sounding no, but this startup is testing this theory. Medical virtual reality company Vantari VR is encouraging its staff to game during work hours.
Doctors and co-founders Dr Vijay Paul and Dr Nishanth Krishnananthan's initiative 'Gaming for Good' encourages their staff to spend one Friday afternoon a month connecting and bonding with their coworkers with gaming sessions, prioritising the unique and collaborative connection and camaraderie you get while playing games, with some studies finding that gaming actually makes better doctors.
