BRITs to scrap male and female awards categories as it goes gender neutral

While having a sex classification in sports might make sense, the same can't be said for acknowledging achievement in entertainment. At least that seem's to be the motivation behind the BRITs move to scrap "male" and "female" categories.

Tom March, the BRIT Chair, said: "It is important that The BRITs continue to evolve and aim to be as inclusive as possible.
