British Sign Language Looks Set To Become Legally Recognised On 'Momentous Day'

British Sign Language (BSL) is set to become a legally recognised language in England, Wales, and Scotland after gaining backing from the UK government.

Rose Ayling-Ellis, the first deaf person to win Strictly Come Dancing, has been campaigning for BSL to be recognised as an official language and given legal protection in the UK. Now that dream is set to come true.
