Formed in 2014, The Light Collective photographers are leaders in their field. They are renowned for their interpretive and artistic approach. In their latest exhibition and publication they have chosen to juxtapose the adjacent coal mining industry with the Great Barrier Reef as symbols for a global conversation to ask an important question; can we find a sustainable balance between the continued extraction and consumption of fossil fuels and the well-being of our great natural ecosystems? We are being asked to acknowledge the relationship between one of the potential causes of climate change. www.thelightcollective.com.au
