Experienced in Kyoto- Isetan Art museum. The Lost Thing is a humorous film about a boy who discovers a bizarre-looking creature. It is lost and he tries to find who owns it or where it belongs, but the problem is met with indifference by everyone else. Each is unhelpful in their own way; strangers, friends, parents are all unwilling to entertain this uninvited interruption to day-to-day life. The boy feels sorry for this creature and attempts to find out where it belongs. What started as an amusing nonsensical story developed into an insightful fable. Narrated by Tim Minchin.
