An Artist Designed Supermarket

A temporary supermarket in London where product packaging is designed by artists for UK’s Design Museum. It aims to showcase the importance of creativity and will sell “essential” products including toilet roll, teabags, washing-up liquid, pasta and gin. As this is the world’s first artist-designed supermarket. Camille Walala who is lead artist on the project and has designed the vibrantly coloured, boldly-patterned temporary shop. “I wanted to do something a little bit pop and fun … I want to put a smile on people’s faces” when they shop- a delight - not a chore. https://designmuseum.org/whats-on/supermarket
