Agricultural wholesale markets in India are moving to online trading

This new start-up, AgriBazaar, takes advantage of the wide penetration of mobile phones in India to move the traditional physical wholesale market (mandis) into the digital world. Farmers can now sell fresh produce online from the safe confines of their homes, it also ensures the full supply chain is visible. So "every last grain" available can be bought and not wasted.
