Affordable housing residents find solace in art making classes with wider community

post-image

North Ryde affordable housing residents are participating in art classes with resident Dorina Petre. The art works will be submitted in the annual 'No Place Like Home' art exhibition which encourages wider community participation.

The event aims to raise awareness of the importance of affordable, safe, and secure housing by exhibiting local community art work to highlight how a 'home' can transform lives. Link Housing launched the concept four years ago with the exhibition providing an opportunity for local housing residents to improve their self-confidence and develop their interest in art.
