Elon Musk's Neuralink plan is to combine the best of invasive and non-invasive techniques to get greater accuracy in human brain-machine interfaces. Having developed threads ten times thinner than human hair, which can be implanted inside the brain to wirelessly monitor neuron activity, safety and usability for human testing is next.

Endless possibilities exist if it's done right - stroke impacted patients could potentially recover from lost physical capabilities. What if it unlocks our brainpower that is currently unused? For the cyber-minded, is the next wave a call for innovative anti-malware solutions for our mind?
