The whole approach to Kensington Palace has changed since Princess Diana's death 20 years ago. It's open and light, spacious and welcoming, hospitable and also fun. While 7 or 8 million people walk up and down the Broad Walk each year, only 100,000 or so used to visit the Palace Gardens.
