A Microminiature Museum

post-image

Mykola Syadrysty's work led to the emergence of a new word "microminiature", which was not previously in encyclopedias or dictionaries. He created his first microminiature in 1959.

Since 1985 Mykola Syadrysty’s work has been exhibited in the former library of Kyiv Metropolitan Flavian (Gorodetsky).

The description of each of the miniatures is striking in numbers, measured not in millimeters - but in thousandths of a millimeter. The master created the world's smallest electric motor- this device is almost 20 times smaller than a poppy seed.

I visited this museum a few years ago in Kiev and have never seen anything like it!
