A high density concrete which reduces emissions

With a projected sea level rise of up to 90cm by 2100, ports, harbours and other coastal infrastructures will face increasing difficult wave environments. UNSW experts have designed a low carbon, high density concrete perfect for long-lasting breakwaters, which also results in lower carbon emissions in both its production and construction phases.  14 of the new concrete blocks are in place in Port Kembla, NSW being tested for their stability and integrity.
