Accurate identification of a cultivated plant is helpful in knowing how it grows and protects it from pests and diseases. The Pl@ntNet application allows you to identify thousands of species of plants thanks to your pictures. The images you send are automatically compared to the thousands of images in botanical databases. The application then proposes the identity of the plant.
The Pl@ntNet system compares visual patterns transmitted by users via photos of plant organs (leaves, fruits, flowers ...) that they seek to identify. These images are analyzed and compared to an image bank produced collaboratively and improved daily.
