Can you see the six soldiers firing on the people? This scene is part of the memorial called Jallianwala Bagh in Amritsar India commemorating the 2,000 Indians who were killed or wounded on April 13 1919 when the British General ordered soldiers to fire indiscriminately on a peaceful gathering. This was one of the major incidents that spurred India's freedom movement.
