A clothing line with a 100% local supply chain

A Melbourne entrepreneur has enlisted 22 SME's to produce a range of sweaters designed, produced and created locally. They have collaborated to form an end-to-end, all-Australian supply chain.

Sporting the slogans: ‘Actually, I can’ and ‘Support local’, the sweaters are now for sale.

That is going to be the great help to the economy. I always prefer to buy local products, as it supports our own economy.

Magnetic Attraction: Microplastics

A Kyushu University study (2021) estimated there were 24.4 trillion pieces of microplastics in the world's upper oceans or roughly 30 billion 500-ml plastic water bottles. Microplastics are tiny, toxic and very hard to remove from the environment. But researchers in the US have discovered that some Natural Deep Eutectic Solvents (NADES) can attract and bind microplastics, making it easier to remove them from the environment.
