A breakthrough CSIRO-backed startup using seaweed to cut down cow farts is set to change agriculture

As the agriculture sector is one of the worlds top five environmental polluters it is clear that it poses a great challenge to the world and how to best tackle the issue. Luckily there is no sweeter word for inventors and entrepreneurs than the word ‘challenge’, and FutureFeed is up for it. 

Their supplement of using the seaweed asparagopsis in feed for dairy and beef cattle has after a five-year trial made headlines across the industry as research trials in Australia and the US have found it can reduce methane emissions in beef and dairy by more than 80%.
