A 3D Printed table

post-image

This 3D printed table is on display at the V&A Museum in London. Several materials are used, in powder or resin form, that are plastic based. A film displayed with the table shows how it is produced . The table is based on the distinctive branching form of the dragon tree. The growth patterns of the tree are developed into a design based on mathematical algorithms.
